Shipping cars to BotswanaSavannah Freight Services
We have a growing presence in the Botswana market, and we are planning to get even bigger. Please keep an eye open for our adverts which will be appearing in local newspapers and radios very soon. UK has been known to produced good quality cars. UK is now increasingly becoming a favoured source of highly sort after cars.
At Savannah Freight Services we can provide you with just about any vehicle of your choice. Importing into Botswana is very easy and there are currently no major restrictions. Please visit our website here for more information.

We are the specialist in delivering cars to Botswana via Namibia-Walvis Bay.

 Recommended ports
1) Namibia-Walvis Bay
Currently the most popular port for delivering cars to Botswana, because of clear and straight forward clearing procedures. Walvis Bay is also a destination of choice due to outstanding security for your vehicles and its contents. It is also a port of choice as cars can be driven from Namibia to Botswana. It takes 2-3 weeks for our vessels to deliver cars from UK to Namibia -Walvis Bay. We have Vessels that leave UK for Botswana every 2 weeks.

2)  Durban is also an optional port for Botswana. There are at least 2 car carrier ships leaving every month for Durban, and it takes 3 to 4 weeks to get there from UK.

Clearance and delivery from the destination port Durban
It isn't possible to drive imported vehicles on South African roads; so your Customs Clearance Agent will deliver your vehicle up to Botswana for you.

 Inspections and local regulations
There are no specific regulations regarding UK vehicles, however be sure to check with your local authorities before making a purchase.
Why buy direct from UK using Savannah Freight Services?
Batswana are increasingly choosing to buy directly from UK because quite simply you will be getting a better quality vehicle, with a lower mileage at a cheaper price. Vehicles from UK often have the highest grade options fitted as standard. We estimate that when you add everything up you will be saving at least $1000 compared with a similar quality vehicle bought locally. Please visit Our Gallery here for Vehicles that we are shipping to Botswana.

We specialise in the transporation of vehicles worldwide from the UK. One of our most popular service is to Gaborone, Botswana. Vehicles are initially shipped to Durban by Ship/Ferry. They are then collected at the port by our Durban agent and transported to Gaborone, Botswana.

Lots of Africans' are now getting wise to the big savings available by importing cars from the UK. High quality new and used cars are now available at some of the cheapest prices in Europe. Finding a competent and reliable supplier and shipper can be a problem. At UK vehicles and Spares Ltd. we are currently exporting cars and trucks to South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Angola, DRC and Zimbabwe. We have a large selection of new and pre-owned cars and trucks available and Savannah Freight Services will arrange all export and shipping paperwork for you. We can also supply you with any spares you need. Look at our website - if you don't see what you want we can usually find one for in the UK for you. We will deal with all export paperwork and provide a clearing agent. We will arrange for vehicles to be driven to the UK seaport and then Savanna Freight will ship your car, we will then deliver it to your country.

Container Transport is Preferred to transport as it offers security to Vehicles Transported inside. No one will have access to your container but yourself.

Container shipping is the safest way to transport vehicles. However, like most things in life, you pay for the security. For example as on today-03-07-12, if you ship a saloon car on roll on roll off, from UK- (Sheerness) to Walvis Bay (Namibia); you can pay anything between £720-£820.00. If you ship the same car in a 20 ft container, it may cost you in excess of £2000.00. So the decision to ship in a container or to do roll on roll off will depend on affordability. Most people may not see it as economically viable to ship a ford focus that costs £400.00 in a container. Where as it is a non-brainer to ship a £80 000.00 Ferrari in a container. If money is no barrier to shipping and security is your major concern, then please use a container to ship a car. Thanks

Hey i would like to get an audi a3 from the Uk, some time nearing December, and I'd like to use the Namibian port. Besides the shipping cost are there any other costs i'll incur if i'm to collect my vehicle in Namibia and drive it back to Botswana?
